Karnataka Employment Center has aim to transforming the capabilities and to focus on the employment exchange in Karnataka. The main activities which are followed by the KEC are as given below:
Registration of job seekers
Submission of candidates against the vacancies notified by the various employers. Imparting Vocational Guidance to the job seekers. Collection, compilation and dissemination of Employment Market Information. Conducting research and surveys in the field of employment market and job creation. Self-Employment and job development programme.
To secure more jobs for the Karnataka unemployed youth, the state government has set up the Karnataka Vocational Training and Skill Development Corporation Limited. The Karnataka Employment Center has aim to in power the skills and knowledge and give them to secure bright future. This year more than 4000 students have registered with the Karnataka Employment Center till the date of this huge set up.
The Karnataka candidates have been now placed to various fields like manufacturing, automobile, construction, retail, healthcare, banking, finance and insurance and information technology.
Those registered candidates whose profile include graduate and under graduate and working professional with two years of experience will get the better job opportunities.
